A great way to help your deadlift

Here is a great way to help move your dead up.

Take pics or video so you KNOW what your posistion looks like at the start of a deadlift.

Put the safety pins in the power rack so that when you are in the bottom position you are setup at the same point as when pulling. If you can suspend the bar with chains all the better.

Use a safety squat bar if at all possible, and hold onto the yokes, not the bar or the power rack. If all you have is a regular bar, that will work, but not as well.

Setup with the same foot posistion as when pulling.

Take the bar off the saddles, go down until the bar is on the pins and pause for at least a second. If you are using chains to supend the bar, start form the bottom.

Work up to a heavy triple or single. If size is important also, do a backdown set of 6 to 12 reps.

Put this in your rotation, but don't do it every workout.
