Is this link sad or what? For some stange reason I was motivated to look up how many Americans have died in Iraq..I don't know how to take this..It hit home with me and I am really bothered by what I see.

I think of how the parents of the dead soldiers must feel. I think we would have been much better off turning the middle east into a parking lot, protection OUR men, and closing off the borders to all. I dont think long term peace of any kind will ever develop in that area. Its sad!

it does suck ass. There was a 19 year old kid from my hometown that killed himself while he was there.

It sucks but that is the result of war. Whenever I get asked by someone that is thinking of joining the military, I asked them if they are willing to die for there country or for other people in other countries. It is a tough question for someone to honestly answer.

What ticks me off is the media slant is not always (or often) what is actually going on. Let's focus on the negative happenings so even the supporters of the troops will waiver to the liberal sh*ts that don't support our men dying over there.

different stations slant the news to vent their views . watch fox news and cnn one day on the same stories and you will be amazed at the different spin they put on stuff , especially a big war or political story .
