Personally, I don't believe in a hierarchical board. If you are member of a board like this, then most all are on an equal footing concerning membership risk dependent on one's "extracurricular" endeavors. Many are well-versed in certain areas depending on their experiences and education. It should be a one-for-all, all-for-one situation.
I don't know nor really care what this is all about concerning the situation in this thread. It wouldn't take much to start your own board. There are plenty of businesses (server farms) that host websites for a minuscule amount of money or you can spend 250+ a month for your own dedicated server.
One's safety with online activities should be paramount in what we individually try to accomplish. Adversarial, threatening, demeaning and overall disrespectful behavior should be left to the under twenty groups.
Case in point, another board had banned several of us here due to the fact that this particular board owner apparently had a vendetta against one or two people. If you had any contact with that person or persons, you would be kicked off that board regardless of the trust established over the years in online dealings with those people and many others regardless of your integrity or theirs. This board owner threatened others with physical and/or legal harm numerous times openly.
There will always be differences of opinion between people concerning many topics. If someone else differs in their opinion from yours, then respect it and do it in a respectful manner and keep everything you post about someone either through PMs in an open forum. No hiding in hidden forums either as has been experienced by some on other boards.
The ultimate and only allegiance we on boards of this type is an established safety for all. Everything else is moot point or even petty when it comes to extraneous topics and differing personalities.
