AK gurus

Do we have any WASR AK gurus here? I found one that is almost too good to pass up but I’ve got one concern with it.

It’s a WASR 10/63 AK 47. It’s got a single stack mag well instead of the double stack. I was trying to make sure if I just filed it open enough to accept the high capacity magazines that nothing else would need to be done. I took it bye a local gunsmith & he seems to think that’s all it would take. He said it would probably be around $100 for him to do it so I may go that route instead. Needless to say I didn’t pass it up, the price was just too good!

A $50 Dremel, a $7 bit & about an hour of my time she is no longer a single stack rifle.

Yeah I was thinking as long as the mag would hold then you'd be good.

Nice & snug. Practically no mag wobble.
