almost cut my big toe off

Was in the garage intending to open a window.
Freezer in there running all the time and smelling like fuel with the motorcycle in there.
Bunch of stuff blocking access.
As I picked up and old child seat and went to move it I inadvertently knocked over a cast aluminum sculpture I made in college.
It has very sharp edges.
I fell against my shin and I pulled my leg back,
only to have the shapt edge fall right across my big toe,
cutting it behind the first knuckle right to the bone.
I had flip-flops on.
Arterial blood gushing out, nasty.
I applied pressure and used a t-shirt to do it.
Got a big knee band-aid and torqued it on, then wrapped athletic tape around it and the foot to keep on the pressure.
Loaded up the kids and headed for the emergency room.
Three stitches and a tetnus shot. Bone not broken.
Haven't had a good stretch the past year and a half.
Arm still killing me and my right trap is constantly buzzing, what-ever.
Damage to the CNS; hypertonia. Better start using it through the pain, as this lends to to CP-like syptoms and limitations.
Don't have problems contracting, in fact that is the problem.
Toe will heal.
That sculpture is going to the scrap-yard.
Too sharp and dangerous to have around with kids and all.
Enjoy your lives.

If you had cut off your toe, you could have thrown it in the freezer and had it for later.
