Now the government is bailing out credit card companies...when is this all going to end?? This is getting completely rediculous America!! Now, the rest of us are buying other peoples dinners!!

American Express has now asked the U.S. government to make them a bank. I guarantee you for the only reason being...to get their hands on this "$700 billion bailout", which is well over $1 trillion now!! and our lovely government says "sure american express...you can be a bank" wtf?

this is truely pathetic. when is all this going to end? Now there are talks of bailouts for the auto industry. come on!!

and now...the rest of us poor souls who actually pay our bills are paying for other peoples dinner...dates...clothes...taking our tax money to bail out a credit card company who is now a "bank". y shouldnt we all just say to hell with it and not pay our bills?

well i guess there may be ONE good thing that comes from this...paying for someone elses dinner and getting NOTHING out of it...NOW some of the women out there will get see how it feels!! muahahaha

You reap what you sow as an individual, a nation and by those elitists who believe they are owed something because of their family influence, family wealth and associations.

Like MsWetback posted in another thread. We are spiraling out of control on many fronts.

Just simply doing the right thing by your family, your acquaintances and close friends no longer counts. It's dog eat dog like in third world countries and we'll see the results of abandoning decency based on many ideologies and group and personal agendas.

I am really concerned about the future of my descendants.

Absolutely not a surprise. The revolving credit problem in this country is over 1.3 TRILLION dollars. It is WAY larger than the real estate crisis or the banking crisis. It is yet one more step in the collapse.

Investment Banking - broke
Real Estate - broke
Banks - broke
Auto Industry - broke
Insurance - broke
Credit Cards - broke

Just think the federal government has or is baling out every industry mentioned above. And with what money ??? And who is paying the bill for it ???? When the bell tolls there is no revenue left to make the payment, that will be the bankruptcy of the US.

exactly...with money that doesnt exist. With every bailout, and every dollar the U.S. gov't gives out the value of our American dollar goes down. They can print all the money they want...and give it all away...but what good is it when its worth nothing?? at some point it wont be worth the paper its printed on at this rate!
