I like to paint and have the knack for quality work, but I just painted my daughter's bathroom (after installing new tile) and the color she picked out is hideous.
My wife sided with her choice but evidently, neither has any real sense of interior design.
Hell, looks like another do-over project because I don't know if I can live with it.

I fight that all the time with home buyers .

torquoise blue to match the tub from the 1970's.
The wife wants to keep it, so I painted the window frame, door frame stark white.
I also bought a stark white toilet and put in chrome fixtures.
We haven't decided on the sink, but it will be free-standing in a tiles enclave and I will insist on a vey light color.

Actually, it's the same shade but a tad lighter than the border around my avatar. Hmmm...maybe not so bad after all.
