Hello to all....Quick question about Beef......... Which part is best to eat without breaking the bank account? (Bulking)
 
I like the filet or the tenderloin........but that might be pricey depending on your budget.:D
 
Flank steaks are cheap and big. Marinate it over night and bar b q or grill it the next day.

Make sure you marinate it ATLEAST 6 hours, because it is a tough piece of meat and you need the acids to break down the fibers to make it more tender. Slice against the grain.
 
I prefer inside round or inside top sirloin...very lean and if cooked right still tender.

Among the most healthy cuts, also I use 96 to 98% lean ground sirloin often.
 
here in Canada they dont rate the %leaness on meats... would you happen to have the nurtrional info on the lean ground sirloin?
 
Ground beef is not all that bad. Casseopia at another board did some testing, and simply rinsing the beef and draining in a colander after cooking drops the fat content from 22g per 4 oz, to 10 g.
