My 1984 BMW R100 has been my rider and commuter for just under four years. It's a 22 mile commute one way.
It had 37,000 miles on it when I got it and it just passed 50,000 miles.
Not all shiny like some out there but it get's me around.
Replacing all the brake pads this week.
Ready for some more miles.
Don't think I ever would have gotten 50,000 miles out of my old Honda's.

It's is a bike, not a car. Very few bikes would ever make it to 200k

I think the only reason for this is that people just don't ride em enough to see that many miles. I've had bikes go over 50k, but I usually buy something else at that point. My current suzuki has 35000 on the clock, and I'm gonna ride it til it's dead just to see how many miles I can get on it. After that I'm going to the dark side, and getting a Harley lol

35,000 miles from a Suzuki is surprising. Definately not a lemon.
My 1966 Honda 450 Super Sport had 20,000 on it before the dealer fucked it up. A valve went through the piston 14 miles out of the shop. That was 8 years ago and I still haven't finished rebuilding it.
Oh well, I'll be riding today on the rider, leave the museum peices for antiquity.
