I've gone to the gym many times when i've eat'n about an hour before work out, and during the workout i've felt tired like not enough energy and i've gone working out about half an hour after eating and Ive felt to full to work out...........whats the best time frame to workout after eating a meal?

I think that's it's best to eat a small meal about one hour before working out. It's sounds as if you are eating to much preworkout.

I like to eat two hours before. I eat a few oranges on my way to the gym

what time of the day are you going?
I always eat an hour prior to my workout. are you getting enough carbs earlier? enough sleep? what are you eating before you workout? if its high glycemic and spiking your insulin, causing your blood sugar levels to rise and crash too quickly(making u feel tired).
also some caffiene may give you a lil jolt.

That's what they make diet mountain dew for:booze:

Also make sure your are not eating any high glycemic foods and sugars prior to your work out, as this will cause sudden fatique during your workout. As LI said eating an 1hr before is good and try to stay with low glycemic foods and fats prior to workout.
