Things to thing about
A lot of people are thinking that Hector's $5,000 offer was really low, but it wasn't an offer at all. $5,000 was the amount Stacy found in the suitcase and questioned Mike about. It was the money Matty took from the dirty cops. When Hector revealed that he knew Mike was a cop and that they would go easy on him with the gun charge, Mike asked Hector if he was psychic. Hector then responded with the $5,000 figure as a way of saying "I've done my research". Mike is dirty and he knows it.
The scene where Chuck is walking through HHM with a lantern early in the morning is a reference to Diogenes, a Greek philosopher who was said to have walked around with a lantern "in search of an honest man".
What I've been thinking more and more lately that's in store for Kim Wexler...
Kim carries on working her ass off to get out of doc review.
Erin finds a copy of Jimmy's 'Wexler vs HHM' printout still left in the Davis & Main company printer. She gives it to Davis & Main, who give it to HHM.
HHM fire Kim.
Sandpiper's legal team, Schweikart & Cokely, pounce on the chance to tease Kim with a job offer in exchange for information they need to defeat HHM's case against them re: Jimmy's solicitation methods etc etc.
Once Sandpiper defeat HHM, they renege on their promise to hire Kim, burning her bridges and thus ending the career she had worked so hard for.
Kim jumps off the roof of HHM, committing suicide, linking back to her previous comment of 'jump off the roof'.
The trauma and rage of the ordeal is the major driving factor that pushes Jimmy McGill into the Saul we know in BB.
I love how at the start of this scene when the cook was setting out the food they used the same Ding! sound effect from Hector's wheelchair in BB.
One scene that I don't think is getting enough buzz is Jimmy in the bathroom talking to petty with a prior guy (forget his name). I think it really highlights how he used to see the law and how he sees it now at Davis and Main. That guy wouldn't give him the time of day before, but now gushes about how nice Jimmy's job and perks must be while he represents "Scumbags" and would kill his mom for a window. I feel like Jimmy enjoys representing these people who are down on their luck, and because of his past, they're not scumbags to him but just people that need a lawyer. Just another small step on his path that I feel was one of the strongest scenes of the episode.
I wonder if the Salamanca family is going to be the driving force behind Mike working for Gus. Maybe as a way of getting protection from them.
