Anyone know about the recent boards being hacked into? fitnessboard.com and anabolicboard. I'm wondering if it is the feds as some of the mods/admins over there have said that their private messages have been tampered with.

Don't expect anything you ever type in a PM, chat, or instant message to ever be private.

Pardon my noobness - what do you mean by hacked?

as far as fitnessboard.com goes, someone retreived the ip address, username and password to the site, deleted everything and put up some garbage crap. The hacker changed the username and password. Now they are going to have to hack the new username and password and get back into and restore everything.

some people really need to get a damn life eh? way too much time on their hands. mean spirited dumb fucks.

So what happened to this site the past few days? It seems to be working fine now.

Makes sense - I thought someone was "getting in" and reading messages and whatnot.

That sucks though, you would think there was a way to easily get it back....

They are also getting into mods ZIPLIP emails.

Crazy! But like seth said - don't expect anything you do online to be "private". Just look at MMX - a certain owner was going through and reading everyone's private messages and emails...

Not only that, but it's been around for a while that "secure" email services like hushmail and cyber-rights are no longer secure.

I can't speak for FitnessBoard because I don't think I'm a member there.

As for AnabolicBoard, I'm there pretty often and it seems to be okay. However, there are a few bros that I don't see there anymore. When I asked about one of the ADMINs, the question went unanswered and nothing was said about it. Also, AB is mentioned in one of the Raw Deals indictments, according to a San Diego news media. So as far as I know about them, we are very very careful what we post right now.

As it stands, I would just be very careful where you surf and what you say/post on them. Stick only with the boards that you are very familiar with, spend time at, and where you know everyone. I've already seen some new names on some of the boards and they would ask obvious questions. So far, I've seen 4 great boards mysteriously fall off of the internet in just 2 or 3 days. I was on AnabolicMind just a day ago and posted on it but now, it's gone. I don't know if it's a server matter or if the ADMINs are shutting down until this matter blows over.

i was starting to get a bit worried. for a few days in a row (about 2 weeks ago) everytime i came here, the page wouldn't display

anabolicminds is down??? damn! that was one of my favorites.
