I had my body fat checked at my gym. They did a 3 point check and I stood on a scale. The final reading was 7.1% How accurate is this? I know they can do more points than 3 and if so would I get a higher reading or what? I don't think I'm in the 7% range so I'm gonna throw a pic up to see what everyone thinks.

The only way to really get an accurate check of your BF is by the water tank thing. I forget the actual name

Using anything else else varies depending the time of the day, what u did or didnt drink or eat yada yada

Hydrostatic Testing or water tank thing, they both work.

I did the water tank thing, but right before you get in you have to yell, "Canonbaaaaalllll!"

The water tank thing isn't all that accurate either, a 3 point check isn't accurate. Your pretty lean but I would suspect that your at the very least 10%.

To test body fat with calipers, use at least 7 sites. Even better is Biosignature done by Charles Poliquin that uses 12 sites.

i usually do shoots around 5-6%, maybe less..you're lean but i think youre a bit higher than 7

this is an old pic of me at 7-8 %..

Thanks Oly I knew it was not 7.1% I looked at the guy when he told me that and said there is no way that's right. He told me it's pretty close. I was thinking I was more on the lines of 8 to 9 % but 7 was a stretch...
