Bodybuilders See Kidney Damage With Steroids

Duh !

Many competitive bodybuilders take anabolic steroids to achieve their freakishly exaggerated physiques. That is no secret. But steroids can be only one part of an extreme regimen that can wreak havoc on the body.

Your title is misleading and not the same as the NY times. Though it too spews bullshit like all propaganda the contents doesn't validate where they wish to lead your mind. Their disease was worse than in obese patients with a higher body-mass index, suggesting that steroids - combined with the other practices - might be harming the kidneys - There is zero support for that claim.

I think a lot of the kidney damage that's seen in bb's come from overuse of otc painkillers. Advil...
 
and maybe dieretics (sp) and contests where they drink 0 water and are bone dry....... also i forget where but i heard or saw a study saying that over long time drinking 2 products a day with aspirtain in it (diet drinks) can caused decreased kidney functions and i know alot of bodybuilders love diet coke its like their cheat but not really a cheat so they drink alot of diet stuff while preparing for a comp
