Buff, how hard was it to get this site goin?

What if one day, I dunno, someone wants to build a forum like this an get it goin. How hard was it for you buff?

Another BBing site? or a different "theme" to it?
 
It would be just a matter of getting a web design company to set it up for you. You need to get some advertisers to help absorb the cost.
 
You think that is how all these forums were setup? I was wondering if there was like, a certain company or something, that sets all these forums up.
 
A lot of these sites do have the same format probably done by the same company.
 
yea, vbulletin. I was just wondering what the actual process consisted of.
 
to get to the point where I'm at now that I basically can do everything on VB was probably 3 years. A lot of which were a ton of fuck-up's. You need to have cash because no one will sponsor you with zero members. If you wanted to own a site your own site you don't necessarily need to know everything. You just need to have a really good admin. Without a good admin, sites just suck.
 
and you need something different, they are a million boards some with hundreds and even thousands of members, but when you go to them they only have like 20 new posts per day, basically people sign up, and never post..........
