carbs for maintenance

how many carbs should u eat a day to keep from losing any muscle? i read liftsiron post on gaining "lean muscle" and not eating many carbs but i have also heard that anything less that 150g of carbs a day will cause u to lose muscle. how true is this?
 
I think 150 grams is adequate for most, but insure you have adequate protein, because the body can convert protein into carbs when needed but not vice versa.
 
thanks Liftsiron. i read the thread posted above ^ and it was very imformative. but it still didnt tell me how much to eat to maintain. so u can cut with 150g carbs a day?

Sure 150 grams of carbs equals 600 calories. I normally limit my carbs to about 100 grams when cutting.
