I wanted to get the various opinions out there on cardio after lifting. Due to my schedule, I usually do relatively low-intensity (i.e. fat-burning) cardio for 30-45 minutes 3-5 times a week depending on my goals/time of year.
In several weeks I'll need to be in better shape (aerobic wise--highly anticipated football game approaching), and I will begin incorporating 15 maybe 20 minutes of moderate to high intensity cardio to get my aerobic endurance up to par. This higher intensity cardio will be done immediately after lifting.
I was wondering how much I will be hindering myself since I am ramping up my caloric intake (to add some bodyfat--ie mass/strength) and will continue to do so, and have started a creatine/taruine combo several times daily. Again, this cardio will only be done for several weeks, then I will be switching back to the fat-burning cardio about 3x per week.
thanks for any/all advice, comments
