Carpal tunnel

Hello my doc wants me to have surgery for my carpal tunnel. I have it in both hands so ill get both done at the same time. What im wondering is how long after till its safe to pump iron again. Thanks Al.

See a hand specialist, often a short series of injections can cure it for good. I had severe CT years ago had the shots and they cured it.

I would not get cut in both wrists/hands at the same time.

Yes i have tried life style changes and changed jobs. I was a mechanic thats what started it. I had carpal tunnel for 12 years now. I'll post how the injections help. If needed to be cut ill do both at the same time. Ill have help for personal care so that won't be a problem.

Hello an update had 2 appointments today one was with an nuroloigst he want's to operate said its to severe for cortasone. I kinda figured that would be the case. Also had an appointment at a physical medicine office. They said they can treat me with therapy and a laser treatment. So im going to give that a try. Hello everyone an update on the treatments. So far a big improvement with them. Im no longer getting numb at night and when driving and using the computer. Also they helped me with my arthritis in my knee with uflexa shots. Great stuff no pain at all. Even when doing heavy squats.
