I’ve been paying for 14 years & I just got it terminated. It’s a super flawed biased system in the state I live in.
 
I got custody of my son when he was four. I didn't even seek child support but the court made my ex pay child support until my son was 18.

That was 27 years ago. Really unheard of back then. I didn’t even ask for it, the friend of the court perused it.
 
Update: I went to the courthouse on Tuesday in an attempt to get some answers on how to get reimbursed on my overpayment for child support. After being bounced around from one department to the next Miss Sherry stepped into my life! This woman took me under her wing & guided me through the process.

After filling out all the paperwork there was a couple of questionable things that Sherry needed to double check. She assured me she was going to ”baby sit” my papers & would call if there was any issues.

One other lady jumped in to help but I didn’t catch her name. they were both making phone calls, looking up things & basically doing what neeeded to be done.,

It’s not that I need the money, it’s all about principle now. My ex wife is honestly not a good person. She had my wages garnished & now she gets a taste of her own medicine. Our daughter is figuring out her mom & can’t wait to move out on her own. I believe in karma, eventually you reap what you sow. I can’t thank Miss Sherry enough for her help! Now I just sit back & wait.

The absolute sweetest revenge is hearing my daughter talk about her mother. Over the years everyone said she would eventually figure things out. All those people were right.
