computer password help

how do i change my password on my screen saver.... "someone" has been reading around on my computer while im not home....

when I go to the control panel and check the box to password protect my screensaver it doesnt give me the option to change the password....

can anyone help?
I have windows XP if that helps at all

un-check the password box...hit apply.

close out.

then go back in and assign a new password...

your screensaver pw is the same as your windows log on pw...so you would have to change that.

1. Go to Control Panel
2. Go to User accounts
3. Choose your account and then make the necessary adjustments.
