Ok, so our computer keeps freezing up and we had to turn the whole thing off and back on again, or it just reboots right in the middle of whatever you are doing. So a few nights ago, after turning the damn thing off and on maybe 20 times that day, it doesn't come back on at all. So I bring the hard drive into the shop, and they tell me there is nothing wrong with it. We are getting it back today. They said it could be the power source, and if it happens again they'll send someone to the house. In the meantime, we've had our son's laptop hooked up to the same power source, and the phone is on it too, and no problem.

Anyone have any thoughts/suggestions as to what it could be? I can't be going any length of time without my computer :insane:

That sounds like an internal problem with you rPC considering it was shut on and off repeatedly. A board shorted or th epower supply went out Im thinkin, get others opinions though as well.

Could be power supply or shorted MB, also if it rebooting could be Malware. Try and run spybot on the PC. I personaly like zone alarm it's rated pretty high. The full version runs about 70.00. Now if it's completely turning off thats hardware then i'd look at things like MB, CPU Fan is it working, power supply, shorted devices, etc.

I am def thinking spyware of some sort of virus infection, have you ran any spyware programs on your PC to check it out?
