It was right there in your grasp but you couldn't hang on. But it was an outstanding game. Looks like SEC will take care of your dirty work. Clemson will go down hard.
 
I think most everyone did. Ohio outplayed Clemson most of the game. But Clemson's defense was tough. My Gators played them pretty closely. But I think LSU will take the championship. At least I hope so.
 
Long time Ohio St fan here - just getting my voice back in recent hours after all the yelling last night & blood pressure jacked up haha. You don't go to the big game playing the champs and come away with only 3 field goals being in the redzone 3 times duh. They could have put it away early and they didn't. They didn't step up when it was time, and Clemson did. And while the refs certainly had some questionable calls in many people opinion - all hurting Ohio St - that's no excuse. Gotta say that was one of the hardest hitting, smashmouth college games I've seen in a while.

Yep it was one of those down and dirty, in your face gut check games. Not having a horse in the race I thoroughly enjoyed the game. LSU/Clemson? I have to go with my SEC boys.

My money says he will be pulling for LSU in the big game next week. :D

Honestly, even if Ohio St would have won against Clemson, I wouldn't have given them much of a chance against LSU. Same with Clemson. Joe Burrow and that O are a friggin' machine. To think we had him and let him go duh! :at: :wallbash:

Everybody last year expected Bama to crush Clemson and Clemson routed them, but IMO, this LSU offense is one of THEE best in NCAAF history, and I can't see that happening this time. I'm gonna predict a 51-38 LSU win.

Yeah, I don't think Clemson can hope for a repeat. LSU is just too dominant. O-State would not have fared well either.
 
It's going to be a great game regardless of who wins. My guess is that with Burrows accuracy, his ability to throw the long ball on the money, the speed of their receivers
and that front line on offense, not even beginning to touch on their defense. It's going to be a blow out.
 
Started out looking like Clemson did their homework for a D-plan to slow Burrow down. But once he got into his rhythm, along with some adjustments, it was time for the machine to roll.

Congrats to LSU, Burrow and crew. This kid IMO will be the next Manning or Brady with a bonus - he can scramble if need be. To think he/they put up 14 (FOURTEEN :eek: ) TD's and almost 1500 yards in 2 playoff games is mind blowing!
 
^ Yes for most of the game I thought my next meal was going to be crow, lol. Gotta give Clemson props, they came with a win attitude for sure.
