This is for the mofo not rollin' in money(like me unemployed :p ). Sorry no pics...sorry Oly.lol Prices will vary depending on where ya live...prices listed is what I pay here:

2 lbs lean ground beef = $7.18
1 packet of Lipton Rice (Mexican flavored) = $.99
1 normal size can of chili beans = $.59
1 medium size white onion = $.69

Put meat and diced onion in skillet. Season with garlic powder and pepper. Mix the lipton rice with 2.5 cups water in microwavable container and set the microwave for 12 mins. Brown the meat on low heat same time the rice is cooking in microwave. After 12 mins meat should be cooked/browned good enuff. Drain the fat off the meat. Pour the rice into the skillet and the can of chili beans also. Stir/mix it all up and you got a yummy, nutritious meal that you can divide up into 4 meals throughout the day. ;)

total time: 12 mins
total cost: $9.45
protein: 230 g
carbs: 200 g
fat: varies...depends on how good you drain the fat off the meat...but all in all not too much fat :)

Enjoy :D

p.s...Mix in some Texas Pete and its even better. :D

I like Basmati rice mixed in with ground beef, little bit of English mustard (1/2 teaspoon), couple dashes of reduced Na soy, Thai 7 spices, pouch of steam fresh veg (broccoli, green beans & asparagus).

I used to eat a lot of fillet steak (over ?100 p/w ($165)) but I foud that I got just as good results with ground steak and it's less than half the price.

Damn just got through rolling up meatballs with a version of that now. Using stove stop stuffing.

Sweet!....PMM...im saving that recipe for later!....im poor as fuck and fugly 2 boot, shit i need all the help i can get. thanks ..hehe............Z

love the recipe, here in canada, I can buy 4 pounds of beef for $3.60 U.S, and onions I think I pay 2 bucks for a 5lb bag. not knockin ya just noticin the price differences. glad your back up on here spendin some time man, drop some more recipes. a cheap recipe to drop on ya man is 1lb beef, fried in an onion and garlic, drop in 2 spoons of curry, + peppers, celery, zuchini whatever you got kickin around. let that shit stew, put in a cup of water, maybe not so much, if its too watery throw in a bit of flour to thicken it up. than make some whole grain noodles, egg noodles or rice. whatever you like. put a heap of that stuff on your plate, than pour some of that curry beef on top of that. heaven man.
