? 24 olives (pits removed)

Simply place 2 leaves of romaine lettuce on a plate, top it off with 1 cup of cottage cheese, and sprinkle 2 dozen olives on top of that. Cool, refreshing, and surprisingly filling considering its very low calorie count.

This is a most spartan recipe - simply top off a cup of low fat cottage cheese with 3 tablespoons of slivered almonds and enjoy. Don?t let the simplicity fool you, however. Cottage cheese is the closest thing you can get to whey protein from any supermarket, and the slivered almonds provide the essential fats (and some of the crunch) of a meusli-type cold cereal.
