me and my g/f are having some rough times and we are only 19 but we really want things to work. So we have decided to see a counselor. I was just wondering if anybody has had any successs with this??
 
never went to one bro, I got married at 19 years old, and she must have been the right girl because 12 yrs later and we are still together. If you two feel you really wanna stay together then by all means go for it

hey bro....i duno the details of ur situation....but i will say this....i was i think 18 when i wasted 3 years on a girl who i thought was the 1....im not sayin ur wastin ur time, but just try not 2 let it consume ur life....u got ur whole life ahead of u....if u think counselin could help then by all means go 4 it....

i duno if this made any sense
u should come 1st, & if ur not happy, then make ur self happy....
 
cylo hit it on the head. It does sound alittle mean, but you should always come first. In the end all you will is yourself. Do whatever is going to make you happy. Don't feel down or depressed. Tomarrow is another day..
 
That's the thing I have been sucidal from the age of 14. I have always tried to either cut myself or jump of something just really down on life. When I was younger I used to burn myself and that was the only thing that really seemed to help was bringing myself pain and all of that dissappeared when I got together with my g/f. Now that things are going to shit all those old thoughts have came back with a vengeance. I just really hope we can work things out

we are here for you bro, and stop that suicidal talk, that solves nothing bro. You are a good bro, and you have a lot of living to do. Keep your head up, and I will keep you in my prayers. Keep positive man. try to remember no matter how hard it gets, I can garantee you there are those who have it far worse than you do. There are guys on this board who I won't discuss there problems but are in situations that are pretty extreme right now. The main thing is to keep pushing on bro, suicide solves NOTHING. ive been there, alot....*yes it was over a girl*
basically the only thing that helped me was 2 totally get obsessed with bodybuilding....i made some of my best gains in the times where i was completely depressed....i took my depression & changed it in 2 anger in the gym....as far as the suicide goes, ive been there....actually woke up 1 morin after downin a ton of pills & actually thought i was dead....the light comin through the window was blindin & i really thought that i was gone....
basically it sovled NOTHING....it isnt not gona solve anythin


concentrate on bodybuilding....its a great release & helps u overcome things in ur life *@ least it worked with me*

my best advice 2 u, is 2 stay far, far away from alcohol & anythin else that messes with ur mind

hang in there bro, ull get through this....even if times r tough right now, keep ur head up & drive right through it
 
i been through this shit also DAMN WOMEN ! you wait and see, keep your ass alive suicide is not the answer..... and you will look back and say sheesh what was i thinking, in all actuallity, all you have is yourself. as cylo said try your damndest to turn that nasty feeling (and i know its a nasty feeling inside MAN!) into a positive force, action etc... i know i know.... eaiser said than done.... but nothing great never came easy, Look Mat you gotta look at yourself and say "im better than that" suicide/physical mutation and pain will not solve anything!!! ..... if you commited suicide youd hurt other people by that action, i know you dont want that .. tell you what take a deep breath when thigs get funky and relax FU** MAN start laughing out of no where ( REALLY LOUD LIKE ) HELL RUN AROUND IN CIRCLES AND YELL "FRANK AND BEANS" IN THE MALL lol keep positive bro! !go hit some cardio, if you have some good freinds TALK to them dont keep this shit bottled up like i said, make yourself laugh act friggin goofy in public make other people laugh (or stare at you wierd) life b too short my man !!! we are all here for you DAMN I WISH I WAS 19 AGAIN !!!!
