My daugher turned 11 last week. She's slender and petite but man can she swim. She placed two 2nd's on Saturday and went from her seed time in 13th to finish 3rd place in the 100 Individual Medley by taking 7 seconds off her best time. Man, all that practice is paying off. She's on her way to Championships if she keeps this up.

Congrats brother you should be a very proud father.. Sounds like all the support you been giving her has payed off.. Not to mention speaking from experience to this will keep her out of trouble when she gets a little older.. Good Job to You and Your Daughter..

u should get her a proper coach and training and train for olympics

Congrats to her! Sounds like she has alot of the ol' mans spirit. :igok:

That is excellent , not to mention the health benifits of swimming .Congrats to you and your daughter . Sounds like she is determined and has the drive.
I can swim , but not effectively .Im kinda like a fishing bobber with a hole in it , I gradually sink slowly to the bottom .

congrats. Thats really cool! I dont have any kids.. but when my nephew does stuff i get so excited and proud. Cant imagine how you feel. Tell her to keep it up!
