DB vs. BB olympic lifts.

What are the benefits of doing dumbbell clean n' jerk over barbell? Or dumbbell snatches over barbell?
The program i got created for me for my wrestling incorporates both dumbbell and barbell olympic lifts, but with barbells i can lift more weight, and that is the point of my training, so why dumbbells?
 
I am guessing that they are to stimulate more muscle growth due to balancing the DBs or increase the range of motion

athletes need to incorporate them due to using one arm or leg a t a time....

i.e. in an arm-bar with one are free.....

Yes I agree with that, I also think that dumbells are used to stimulate more secondary muscle groups, therefore you are less prone to injuries in a sport such as wrestling which requires dynamic movements.
