my g/f is wanting to diet down some and i'm having trouble telling her what to eat.

I told her not to mix fats and carbs together. Also she won't eat tune or ground turkey b/c she hates fish and since I ate ground turkey everyday for 4months I burnt her out on it. So any advice on a good ez diet for her. She weighs around 125

if you want her to stick with it, don't make her do anything extreme. She's not a BB'er or PL'er (unless she wants to), so don't be to agressive. Make sure she just makes healthy food choices, keeps protein up and basically lower her current caloric need by around 300-500 calories and go from there. Start off with cardio 3x a week. 125lbs, she's not big at all. A minor change in her diet may get here where she wants to be..

Well, breakfast could be egg whites and a whole egg, and oatmeal or a slice of WW toast with some low cal jam or something. Or a high fibre cereal with skim milk. And a piece of low GI fruit. A slice of fat free cheese in the eggs is nice, or an omelet with veggies.

A mid morning snack....a protein of some sort preferably.

Lunch could be chicken or lean beef. She could have it in a green salad, with tomatoes, peppers, onion, mushrooms and a fat free dressing. She could also have some brown rice at this time or a low carb tortilla.

A mid afternoon snack...again preferably a protein. She could have a Source yogurt here as a snack. Or some nuts. Or a protein bar now and again.

Dinner again similar to lunch.....protein and a good carb. Lots of green veggies. She can have a small potato instead of rice all the time. Fat free sour cream is good or Molly McButter is yummy.

A snack again later in the evening....protein only. Does she like cottage cheese? Will she use a protein powder?

That's all I can think of off the top of my head right now. Hope it helps a little.

she won't drink protein powder. Thanks for the advice. I think if I can get her to stop eating out that will help

Your welcome. Yeah, eating out will kinda hinder her efforts to slim down. Maybe she can cut it down to once a week as a treat.
