Diet For My Buddy..Critique Please

Helping my buddy out, hes 6ft 2..240 wants to get down to 220

Wanted me to help him with his diet, he just needs a guideline and he will follow it to a tee

This is what I have come up with so far, any suggestions would be much appreciated

5 a.m- Before Work-Protein Shake

8 a.m- 1/2 Cup Of Oatmeal/8 Egg Whites 1 yolk

Meal-4 oz Chicken/Veggies

Meal-8 oz Chicken Breast/2 Sweet Potatoes Pre Workout


PWO-Gatorade/Can Of Tuna


Dinner-Talipia or Salmon W/ Salad


Before Bed-Tuna/15-25 Almonds
 
still gotta get some carbs in meal 1,3,5, and 6 not too many, maybe 1/2 to a cup of brown rice or a sweet potatoe with those meals
 
whats a proper range of intake for carbs when cutting? 150-200?
