I"m trying to drop about 15 to 20lbs and still hang onto what I can of the mass I have. It's not like I'm in a hurry or anything. So I"m going with Oly's advice on this but I'm having a few issues on getting the diet down. First off, it's a pain in the ass getting in 400g of prot over that many meals. Someone please tell me if I"m wrong here. I don't remember where nor when I heard this, but it seems that a while back someone told me that the body can only proccess about 50 grams of prot. every 3 or so hours. Am I wrong on this?

And since i'm just starting off, am I allowed to have dairy? I love my cottage cheese and would really rather not give it up. And are there any specific things that I'm not allowed to eat during different times of the day? As in dairy before bed? From what I understand, it has casien in it and I used to have cottage cheese and tuna salad at beddy bye time. although I think I'm leaving the tuna alone from here on out. Will just start making chicken salad instead. Anyone got good Chicken salad recipes they might want to share? Not that I can't throw one together but sometimes people have special things they throw in to make it kick ass.. Gotta keep it new ya know..

I"m sure Oly will head this up but I'm also looking for input and/or opinions from any and all..

The crap thing is that it's hard for me to get in my meals but I've come to the conclusion that others that I work with will just have to deal with it. And I on the other hand will have to eat some meals cold. I can deal with that tho. Sometimes its not all about taste. It's just fuel for the machine. Means to an end. What all do some of you have to do at work to aid in getting your meals in? And what kinds of meals do you prepare to make it easier?

First off - the body can only process 30-50 g of protein per 3 hrs is bullshit..yeah, smaller meals are better digested and processed than larger meals reason why i prefer smaller but more frequent meals but the body can proecess wayy more than 50g of pro .trust me.

2nd..if you have a tough schedule you have to plan yourself ahead of time,bro..pack all your food the night before and in your case i would rely more on shakes at least 3 of them daily..Isopure ( no carbs version) for example it contains 25g of protein and 0 grams of scoop ..3 scoop of this and you'll have 75g of protein ,add 1-2 scoops of natty creamy PB and youre money and will take u less than 3 minutes to eat this..then u at your lunch break and at home you can eat your solid meals with more time...it's all bout not making excuses and getting it done,,any way you can.

It is difficult.....you're right, I work usually from 10am till 730pm....i get in a shake upon waking....45 mins later a solid breakfast(eggs and some chicken or beef with oatmeal) then I prepare my meals the night before...I weigh out 6 oz chicken and 100 grams of sweet potato in 5 tupperware containers and i eat every 2 hours i throw in a 6 oz lean burger with almonds for another meal during the day.....the moral is YOU HAVE TO PREPARE IT THE DAY BEFORE....you cant try to get everything mealwise set for the day the same day...its just too much work. the guys at work always make fun of me for "eating again" but i have to get my meals in bro.....and thats about 8 meals daily @ 45grams protein per meal...

Meats, you're a tool!!! lol. I think I'm going to have to incorperate some shakes in the meal plan. It helpe last time. Lot less of a pain in the ass. And the customers don't seem to mind, until I start blowing ass in their house.. LOL.. or it follows me in.. Thanks Oly.. Something told me you would negate that thought on prot. I don't know where I picked that up, but it didn't seem right. I will now adjust the meals.

I really do appreciate all of you for your help..

Good set up, though I opt for tuna packets in place of the shakes but always carry a shaker loaded with powder on hand just in case..

Oly, you have me curious about why you prefer solid meals.. Especially PWO.. I think what I may do is have a few diff. options handy throughout the day.. I'm gonna have to buy a bigger cooler..

why do i prefer solid foods over shakes? i ask you this..what do you think will built more muscle? A. 12 0unces of lean steak or B. some whey protein powder that goes throught your system like water? also i dont trust 99% of these companies..only god knows what they put in their products ..(among other things)

Point taken bro. I've actually been trying a few new things this week and eating them cold. Not nearly as bad as I thought. I think I"m making this crap more difficult than it is.. I think I can get an actuall meal down just about as fast as I would drink a shake. Problem solved. Thanks

boiled eggs eaten through out the day. cold meal: big can of chick pea's mixed with
2 canned tuna, 1 cucumber, 2 tomato, 2 green onions, 1 green pepper, lil bit of fresh spinach, a tiny bit of olive oil and balsamic vineager to wet it up a touch. some salt and pepper and fuck the neighbours and custy's, man your ass is gonna stink, but 2 tupper wares of that stuff and your half way theyre, and thats just my snack food

That sounds pretty good. I was thinking some sort of tuna, chicken, egg salad like that might be the way to go. I'm good with all of that. easy and fast. I likes... And like I said, I'm getting to the point now to where I don't give a damn what those around me want or think. When it's time to eat. I'm eating. Period. Not up for discussion. 5 mins aint gonna kill ya. It's not all about them.
