well i am on a variation of the keto diet with one refeed/cheat day per week (typically Saturday)

i have totally eliminated alcohol, sugars, starches, and even good carbs through out the week.

i am writing today to ask if i should kind of do less lifting and more cardio? I am seeing pretty good results already one week in on this diet but I feel like in the back of my mind I should cut my lifting down from 2 hours per night to one and double my cardio.

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND ADDING MUSCLE IS NOT ON MY MIND RIGHT NOW. I am willing to do this to be lean. I currently do 2 hours of lifting 4 days a week ans 20 minutes of cardio per day.

my diet does not include shakes all animal proteins.

so should i shorten my lifting times and double cardio? I feel week as shit already from card starvage...

WTF? LOL....you will lose weight real fast with this type of
diet cause it is very dehydrating....personally, I would not recommend this type of diet since I believe it can cause acid to build up in the body and possibly stress the kidneys, blah, blah......LISTEN TO YO MUTHA FUCKIN BODY, MANG........you're already feeling weak and ya wanna do more? :iwstupid: Monitor your energy levels and train ACCORDINGLY.

Bro, why the fuck are you lifting for 2 hours? That's just retarted. You should limit your TOTAL workout(including cardio) to 60-80mins. I understand you're trying to shed fat and are not really worried about adding muscle but still. This is what I've been doing for about a month now and it's working out great. I do no cardio whatsoever. Basically I move from one exercise to another and am done with my workout in 45mins. For example: If I'm working out chest- I'll start with incline dumbell and right after I'm done with the first set, go do crunches, comeback and hit another set of incline and back to crunches. Your goal is to keep the heart rate up, it sucks at first but you get used to it. You will sweat your ass off. Do that and hit 20-25 mins of Interval cardio. That plus your regular diet(not this keto shit)=results. Do that with 3days ON, 1 day OFF, 2 days ON, 1 day OFF. If you can, do interval cardio first thing in the morning on an EMPTY stomach but if you can't, do it POST workout.

Black, kinda following up what has been said. 2 hours of lifting, while on no gear, and also no carbs, has to be painful. I go Abs, then lift, then interval cardio for 21-30 minutes, but even then I'm in and out of the gym in an hour and a half. I've never liked the concept of the keto diet, just hasn't ever seemed logical to me, especially if you're trying to hold onto any of the muscle you have.

Get some good carbs back in you bro. Up the cardio if you aren't seeing results, but don't cut all carbs out completely.

10 times bodyweight in pounds equals daily calories.
60% of calories protein, 25-30% of cals carbs and 10-15% cals from fats. You will feel better get ripped and lose far less muscle. As your bodyweight drops re-calculate your daily calorie requirement.
