Are you universe is huge and there is a ton of galaxies but we dont have one peice of hard proof not even one microscopic piece of evidence.. People are willing to belief in aliens and ghosts but its too hard for them to beleif in god I dont get it

Why cant even go to the bottom of our own ocean, so its perfectly understandable were missing all types of shit

we find new animals and shit all the time

NO GOD DAMNIT!

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS GHOSTS, WIZARDS, UNICORNS, PSYCHICS, BIGFOOT, NOTHING.
There is a MILLION DOLLAR prize for anyone to prove ANYTHING paranormal. This prize has been out there since the 1990s. no one has ever proved themselves to be psychic or have sufficient evidence for anything paranormal including ghosts spirits bigfoot everything. we dont live in a magic dreamland where unexplained phenomena and miracles occur. welcome to earth

wow..this thread has already gone to shit. Thank you to the few people that actually are contributing to the discussion.

I believe in all 3 myself in different ways. Like you said, the universe is prety much endless. The human mind itself cannot possibly compehend the concept of its limits. What does the edge of the universe look like? What was here before the universe? The universe itself is existance/consciousness, how did it form from nothing? Its impossible really that were even here today. Thats what draws me to the paranormal. No matter what theories scientists come up with. Were a pin-point of water in an ocean. Realizing that, its easy to think there could be life somewhere else. What are the odds of there being one inhabited planet in all of the universe?

I agree you come up with a really good topic and those with 12 year old mentalities and sub 90 IQ's screw it up. As for near death experiences, seven years ago I was in cardiac arrest for near six minutes, in my down time I believe that I experienced something, as to what it's hard to explain. But I know that I had awareness.

Prove that there isnt. Thats fine that youre an atheist, but this little attitude makes you lose whatever credability you think you have to be telling everyone else what DOESNT exist..when you yourself dont even know.

I know..I shouldve known better lol. Somehow it'll end up a religious debate or rippedfreak will get into it with somebody and it'll end up locked. What happened to this place..

hahahahaha....can't we all just get along

Negative, they said it was much much bigger then the biggest whale whatever it is

well..that is pretty damn big. Its crazy that anything can even live in the deepest part of the ocean. The pressure and no sunlight. HOW do they live??

interesting post from another site:

"I for one believe in what you are calling spirits. There is much more to be discovered than what has been discovered. Too many things are coincidences to actually be coincidneces. You think of a friend you haven't seen in a long time, presto the phone rings, etc. I have had some events occur to my cynical self that cannot be explained away with rational means.

I believe b4 we had written, spoken, or sign language, humans still communicated. If we do a electromagnetic spectum image of your body, your head is going to cast the largest field. I believe at some point in the past before the crutch of written and spoken word, we were better able to read these fields. I believe that those abilities have atrophied in all but a very few much like our appendix. I participated in research as a youngster that was government funded to explore some of these hypothesis.

Also a healthy belief in and quasi understanding of quantum theory, super string theory etc. allows for all possibilities and for some reason that gives me peace. It allows me to respect everyones religion to a large degree. I like the fact that whatever you believe in, you probably are right.

In closing, one truism I like to believe is the energy is neither created nor lost. I for one believe this works at a spiritual level as well as physical. Be at Peace and thanks for the thought provoking topic."

^yes. everything is connected. everything connected has energy. nothing created has "become" without energy. electromagnetic energy is what i believe will be the next, and what i believe that is and has been used by governments for years, but it is still considered top secret and sealed. Problem with mankind is that we base achievement on monetary values and what our gov will make by revenues on it. It in turn stagnates research and development for the general public. Btw, never heard of the "bloop"what and where is it supposedly? Is there somewhere to do a search on it?

There are some things DEEP into the ocean but we have NEVER gone to the deepest parts

Sorry Nigbo, I like you and all but you are wrong on that one. Here:

Challenger Deep got its name from the British survey ship Challenger II, which pinpointed the deep water off the Marianas Islands in 1951. Then in 1960, the US Navy sent the Trieste (a submersible - a mini-submarine designed to go really deep) down into the depths of the Marianas trench to see just how far they would go (read the original press release). They touched bottom at 35,838 ft/10,923m. That means, while they were parked on the bottom in the bathyscaphe, there were almost seven miles/11km of water over their heads!

BUT, I agree with you in the sense that we have no idea what lies in the depths of the ocean, or caves for that matter.

I believe in spirits. My father has appeared to me several times in dreams since his death. The first time he looked still weak and depreciated, but he had a tan and said he was ok. (He died of lung cancer and had lost 51 pounds before he died.)
Other visits with him I seemed to go about my business and he was there. One dream this happened and I didn't think of it, but then went from the subconscious to a semiconscious realization that he had already died, I woke up crying.
Unfortunately, I can't remember if my mother ever came to me in a dream. She was killed in a fire when I was 6. I think the trauma was too great to have to revisit the pain of separation.
