On july 5th while watching fireworks(it rained a lot so they did on 5th) I was looking for a place to park and noticed a glowing orange red ball. Kinda like a glass globe with fire inside(best way to describe it). Although it looked odd I thought it was the top light on some enormous cellular tower about 5 miles away. As I headed in the direction of it, it dropped several feet like from 500 feet to 300 feet. It was much bigger then it first appeared. I pointed up at it and asked my wife what the hell it looked like. She said that what she had seen and videoed the one the Discovery Channel showed-thought I saw it someplace before. Anyhow I notice all of the people who were pulled off the side of the road were not watching the fireworks but rather this hovering orange ball(at least 200 people in the immediate area that I could see. I stopped the car and asked one of the many people pointing and looking at it wtf they thought it was(as it hovered over us) a guy he didn't have a clue but that's the second one. Right about then the thing changed direction and flew out so fast it looked like it turned into a star with absolutely no noise/sound. My mother in law does work with the MUFON director guy and he said they have seen these everywhere. I googled UFO sightings and apparently these things are appearing all over the world. I don't know what's up and I didn't get probed or anything but it was pretty tripped out. About 2 years ago me and my cousin saw something similar (as far as speed and direction change). Looked like a plane with 3 lights coming in for a landing. Then all three lights went different directions somehwere between the speed of sound and speed of light.

Drveejay- I never looked in the paper. I don't get the local paper(after the lies & bullshit printed about me and have no use for it). Some of the footage that was used on the Discovery channel and Sci-fi was from my wife. This was April2008 and then we had the mid-west earthquake(which are very rare to none). My wife was on the north end of my town when there was a major explosion in the southend(which could be felt & heard north end 15 miles). When she travelled towards our (then)home there was the highway by my house blocked off. Local news, Indy new and Fox news reported a story of a plane crash which they each retracted a few hours later as a "sonic boom". The road remained blocked off with agencies surrounding the area. The next day was when she shot the footage of the orage fire in the sky. From that point to early this year that road area was under construction(starting that night). This was the area UFO hunters went to. Now to me UFO means just that- unidentified flying object. Not et but et not excluded(it' a big universe). I don't get overly excited about the shit. I'm more disturbed about this fag accross the street who is constantly eye fucking me(like he is right now). However I am substantially amazed over these type of craft which can hover and fly in ways that would defy currently accepted physical laws. If this technology is of earth origin then the laws need rewritten. Furthermore I don't see any reason to make a big issue out of the shit(which is what I told my UFO obsessed 'mother in law' cause unlike the fag accross the street there is nothing we can do about it nor is there anything to be gained (imo) by organizing with mutually interested parties to disguss it ad nauseam. Still I can appreciate their enthusiasm. One other thing: Any time these events occur the people reporting it (whomever it is media wise) love it when there's some fat stankin ass cop giving an occount of said incident. As if it makes it credible. Before ANYONE convinces himself a policeman seals the deal , I would suggest they postpone their sentiments untilthey have dealings with them where they are forced to read a fatass cop's arrest report against their person. They would observe more bullshit and straight up lies than could be told by pinochio in a thousand fairy tale lifetimes.

My neighborhood friends and I saw something similar back in the winter of 1979 in Maryland. It was early evening (dark outside). The ball was green and much higher than you saw. We noticed it for maybe 10 seconds and then it took off just like you described. Extremely fast and no noise.

The volume of older crucial sea ice in the Arctic has shrunk by 57 percent from the winter of 2004 to 2008. That's losing more volume of ice than water in Lake Michigan.
NASA scientist Jay Zwally said global warming is to blame. He said rapidly shrinking sea ice in the Arctic warms the rest of the globe indirectly. Older ice is more important in the Arctic because it is thicker, surviving the heat of summer and building over time.

Yeah I know. Global warming and Santa Claus have one thing I common lol.
If you look at who is always "reporting the truth" on global warming, it is funny how they are the companies that will make a lot of money off of this whole "going green" bullshit.
Not to say that we shouldn't take care of the earth, of course we should. There is a lot of good in being more environmentally conscious. But it is being sold to us through lies.
As for the "end of the world," yeah right. This earth was here billions of years before us, and it ain't going anywhere soon.

Ive always been very skeptical of ufos or life outside of this planet. Bye now wouldn't we have some concrete evidence that life exists on another planet somewhere. We haven't even found a simple life form like algae anywhere else in the univerrse. We have had radio signals blasting way out into space for decades now trying to establish contact with another life form for a long time. Guess what we have nothing no contact. If there was intelligent life what the hell would they be doing flying around in the bushes in some gorge some where.. People see optical illisions. Maybe the goverement is testing something. I dont know but until I actually see something up close I will never believe. And the thing about our goverement keeping all these big secrets well they cant even keep there affairs out of the news our goverement cant keep a secret that big.. Someone bye now would of leaked some physical shred of evidence that the goverement was keeping something.
I'm not going to say that I would have to have concrete evidence to honestly believe it, I"m just saying that it would not surprise me at all. All the BS the gov't covers up i'm sure would astonish the public. The main problem is the public always says they want the truth about everything and I believe if they were given that truth, their brains wouldn't know what the hell to do with the information. They would totaly flip the hell out!! So in some aspects, I don't blame the govt for hiding most things. It's the shit they hide or put out missinformation about for the lobbiest groups to make money. i.e. global warming for the GREEN BS. I'm not saying we shouldn't be more aware of the crap we use on a daily basis, but I think the moneys made from this stuff is probably going to the wrong places. The world was here long before us and delt with mass floods and world fires and all things considered, is fine now. I don't think anything we do, short of blowing the place up with nukes, that will do any worse than what has happened before. WE may be gone but the planet will be just fine. UFOs or not.
