"Traffic light and BAM,
a "No thank you Ma'am,"
here done slammed
into a BMW grand!"
She was grand in style with smooth fine lines, a two seater with a guy and girl, just chilling at the light in the evening breeze. Then a lady in an Acura SUV just plain forgot to hit the brake! Wham! HELLO, LADY! My hands went into the air the same time as the guy's, his girl was next. No-one could believe someone could be that absent-minded, or stupid. (Smoke much?)
Like, "Ok, I'll just smash into this car."
"Opps, oh well, sorry then."
Now, I've had some junky cars I wished someone would've smashed so I could upgrade, but this was a top-of-the-line BMW Coupe, a Sportscar no-less! You know, the $80,000+ and brand new kind.
I putt-putted away shaking my head. The strange thing was I had an earie feeling going to that light, like I was heading right for an accident. How bizzarre.
Any psycho-analysts out there wanna try on that one?
It reminded me of some reading from my youth. As Carlos Castenada wrote through Genaro, the Yaqui Indian Sorcerer, (in "Journey To Ixtland,")
"Death is to my left, he is stalking me!"
"We must move on in search of the lines of the universe to avoid death, for once we are on a line, we can go on forever..."
Carlos must've done alot of mushrooms...If I dream tonight, of what shall it be?
