my elbow has been a problem for over a year now but its gotten worst even hurts when I lift a jug of juice or open a door lol I obviously haven't been able to workout recently I have a ultrasound n xray scheduled I hope it all works out and I able to hit the iron again

Good luck Joe. I hear you. I can't figure out what I'm doing to hurt my elbows. My right one hurt for months, it quit hurting, and now my left one hurts.

I had tennis elbow for a couple of years. A simple band around my uppr forearm alleviates all the pain when it flares up.

its not tennis elbow that's what he originally thought a year ago I even went to physio but it got worst tennis elbow has to do with the forarm muscle/tendon they gave me the same band for around my arm anyways il let u know the results of the ultrasound

Most lifters run into this issue. I know I have. What worked for me, was to foam roll my triceps every day. I place the foam roller on a flat bench and kneel next to it, then put my weight over my tricep and roll as hard as I can each one. Hope this helps at least reduce your pain. After doing this on a regular basis I have no issue doing skull crushes, close grip bench, and push downs.

I had to quit lifting for a while and let it heal otherwise it wasn't getting any better. Same problem. I originally hurt mine in the dojo handing a sword. Must have did it wrong.

Yeh I've been off lifting for a while I get the results wed I'm going bonkers not being able to lift

Joe much of it depends on exactly where the pain is. Many think that tennis elbow must actually be directly in the elbow, yet it can be many places surrounding the area. I've had it on and off for years also, but had it very severe about 10 years ago. I believe mine came from a combo of heavy skullcrushers and doing curls with a straight bar. I went to the ortho, and he gave me a cortisone shot and BAM, pain all gone. Might want to ask the doc about if it would help your situation too.

thanks for the advice il let you all know what the doc says maybe with some rest it will be good and maybe Il start wearing a brace when I start hitting the gym again

so I got the results as far as he can tell there are no tears.... it mus tbe tendonitis but I don't know.... I guess il try working out again hopefully it feels better and il look into getting a brace or something for my elbow

get the shot

get the shot

A lot of people arent a fan of the cortizone injection but you will be pain free in a couple of days. Docs never want to give those out much but i found a good sports doc that would ask what i had coming up and base treatment off that stuff. I always said i had something so always got the shot. If you tell them you need the qquick fix they will give it to you.
