I got this friend that is thinking about asking his girl to marry him... Well he has never even thought about marriage until now and has never looked into buying a wedding ring for any of the hoes he used to fuck...

But what are ball park numbers on rings? he aint trying to spend no 10 grand and shit... his budget is around 2000-2500...is that too cheap? and he just found out today that you gotta buy a wedding band also? sheet....
 
You can get a good ring in that price range, the wrap is an extra 400-500 bro. You can get your band for $100 though. :)

Well thats the thing

U get a nice band and a fake center piece, she can have a nice ring and u dont pay to much

then if u guys are together for a real long time, u can get her a real center piece as a present down the road
 
Once i hit a year with my gf i am going to get engaged. My budget is 5k. I like vs g color stones that is what i use in allmy jewelry
 
a few grand for the ring and about 100k for the therapist he needs since his crazy ass wants to ruin his life by getting married.. poor bastard i hope he has good medical insurance

I think there is some saying in reguards to how much a guy is supposed to spend on an engagement ring. I belive it says you should spend 2 months worth of your pay on a ring. So whatever your dude makes in a month times 2 is the amount suggested to spend.

Marriage is for tards. tell him to save his $. if he cant afford more than 2.5K then he shouldnt even be thinking about marriage. Id say the avg time to get engaged is 3yrs and within a yr of engagement marriage.

Then go for it bro. One thing you NEED to remember. SIGN A PRENUPTIAL AGREEMENT. If she won't sign it, be very worried. Marriage can go south real quick (trust me on this one.) She can take everything from you if you don't have one.
