I don't know where to post this so I'll leave it here. I am basically trying to create a thread where we list our ways ( hopefully proven) ways of enhancing our metabolism. I want to get mine as fast as possible, some of you may not want that for various reason but overall I believe athread like this would be useful to have.
I'll start with what I know, please add whatever you guys also have in mind.
1 - Drink plenty of water. Almost all the processes in the body occur in water solutions therefore being wellhydrated not only improves overall health but it increases metabolism and energy levels.
2- eat 6 small meals a day, have all of them contain protein, taper off carbs after lunch. I am not sure if this will increase metabolism, but it will definatly prevent it from slowing down.
3- consuming beverages with stimulants such as coffee and green tea. Caffeine increases metabolism.
4- consuming research chemicals. I am not well informed here , know that ECA stack uses ephedra and caffeine to boost metabolism and aspirin to prevent your veins from bursting. More info on other products would be appreciated.
5- cardio workout. As heart rate increases the metabolism also increases for the duration of the cardio vascular workout.
6- strength training. Metabolism increases during strength training And for reasons unknown to me it stays elevated for another period of time. Again I don't know how long.
7- good nights sleep. 8 hours a day, wellrested body operates more efficiently burning more calories with the increased metabolism.
