I live up by syracuse, where there's at least a stabbing or shooting daily and at least one murder every week. It's shitty lately but today took the cake. Two 10 year old boys kidnapped a 2 year old from the carosal mall and ended up torturing the boy to death over a couple of hours. It was such a mess, that police couldn't even allow the mother to see the child to identify it. I won't even say what kinda shit they did. Someone ended up spotting the children placing the dead body on railroad tracks 2 miles away from the mall. The boys got 5 years prison (not sure how that works out since they're only 10. How the FUCK do kids at 10 think to do something like this? That is messed up. Not too mention these days there's school shootings every where. I feel almost bad to bring a little girl into this world! Seems like lately the whole world is fucked up.
 
its just sick.....normal humans cant fathom that kind of thing....i know i cant.....
 
damn..we are going to hell in a hand basket....I wonder what those boys environment and parents are like...that probably could answer a few questions...
 
The kids recieved their sentence the same day that they comitted the murder?
 
If a child of 10 years old can be that deranged they need more help than just 5 years of inprisonment... I mean what are they going to do at 15??

Not sure on the fll details. I just heard from a few different people about the story. Apparently it was all over the local news. I haven't watched the news in a couple weeks because I just moved into a new place and still waiting for time warner to stop in. They couldn't have been sentenced that same day. One the kids would have to go into a juvenile court to recieve a disposition. Maybe it won't go to trial since the bos were caught red-handed and admitted to doing it?? I learned a little about the juve system in college but don't know how something like this would be handled. I know that children can be charged in an adult court under certain circumstances
 
Normally for such a severe crime even at ten, the kids would be locked up until they turn 21, evaluated then let out until their caught for murder agin.
 
from what i know at 10 years old they wont be tried as adults they will just be sentanced worst case scenario to being in juvy hall until 18 then atleast in real prison until 21 in NY
 
They prob will be put into some kind of inhouse state therapy untill they are legal age then evaluated, and if they pass they will go out into society. Prob is they most likely wont be given proper treatment and not be very productive in the outside world. They should take a good look at the parents. Im sure they are the most likey ones to blame. If children are totally void of parental emotion or a high lack of attention during their formal yrs, especially from the mother, some do not develop with the type of concious that tells them right from wrong and behavior patterns that are void of feeling. They tend to take their agression out on usually other children or animals first.
 
The kids, who killed the (2 year old?) after sticking batteries up their ass and such - I think were relocated to other states but not really sentenced to much of anything that I can recall.

I'm sure someone remembers that incident, its been circulating for a couple years.
 
Ok bros on another though ..I dont go to church much ,But became a christin a few years ago after a near death experience .So i have a open mind about things .It just seems to me things are getting worse in this world all of a sudden ,The crimes are more hainis,and directed at children and pervertion.Remember the old saying ..The devil made me do it? Could it be true?
 
Oh i know the answer ,I was just trying to give everyone else a different possability.
 
i think bad parenting leads to things like this,, you can't 100% blame the child for something he does if his/her, parent/parents don't give a shit about him, i read an article in the papers not to long ago about how drug use in people in the 30-50 age range is up 80% in the last 5 years maybe thats a reason why,, who knows!
 
My youngest brother is nothing like my other brother and I. In and out of 'the system' from 11 years on, 2 kids before he was 18, nothing like us at all.

I know plenty of other examples, my buddy's sister, nothing like him - but I wont go into the details there.

Can't blame parents for everything. Do you blame someone the parents for something a person does at 60 years of age, when previously they seemed to lead a 'perfect life?' People are individuals and make their own choices in life. I somehow doubt Hitler and Mussolini were following their mothers examples. Yet, both were mommas boys.
 
hitler hated his mother and father! thats why he tried to create the ultimate race. mussolini and hitler although did some bad shit you have to respect they had the world falling to their knees begging not to be harmed damn thats intense. but every woman in my family are teachers thats just how it always ends upfor generations now,, and they see first hand on parent teacher night and they know right away who will make it and who will end up in jail. sometimes the bad genes skip a generation just like baldnesss so that may explain why some kids turn out good or bad i believe imo

Why in the fuck would I respect either one of them for what they did? I'm glad you dont make worldy decisions for any of us.

There is some fact to this...Not all children rasied by the same parents that have dysfunctional families turn out with bad behavior. It has been proven that there are some physical differences in adults with lack of conscious, or what we call the "killer instinct". There are actually differences in the cortex of the brain and the areas that relay messages and thought processes of what is right and wrong. Not saying your siblings have a "killer instinct", but i believe with some children, that it doesn't matter whether the parents are responsibe and caring in the formative years or not. There is a small percentage of children that will grow up into these behavior patterns reguardless. This is a very small percentage, but not one to disreguard. Alot of the time though, it is just bad parenting, but what turns one child into a monster and another just a problem child is relatively unknown other than with split-personality disorders and other psychosis.
 
I agree, its ridiculous to think that or imply that our parents are responsible for everything we've done right or wrong in our lives. We are individuals and we have our own choices to make in life.
 
this world is crazy....where i live a 80yr old man murdered his wife and then jumped out the window. its crzy
 
i totally disagree, befor the age of say 12 if the kid fucks up its onthe parents,, after that age its on the kid himself,, imo,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, but there are always people who destroy those rules,, hopefully all our kids are the ones who score 1600 on their sat and get scholoaships and make a million a year lol
 
damn what part of town do u live in ? syracuse thats horrible ,well I think it gets crazier wit some of these younger generations to come .Chris Rock had the best advise if a kid does bad then show them the tossed salad guy ! ......noooo I dont want to tossed the salad lol
