FDA UPDATES TESTOSTERONE LABELS

Hopefully they quit insisting that pharmacies sell these 1ml vials. I just spent 20 minutes on the phone explaining to our pharacist that it cost $25 for a 1ml vial (GoodRX) of test cyp and $47 for a 10ml vial. Why the hell would I want to buy 12, 1ml vials @ $300 when I can pay $47 for 1, 10ml vial. Silly shit but they finally ordered me a 10ml vial and let me know my prescription was for 12ml. OK, my doctor also prescribed 200ml IM once a week. I only use 120ml/wk so I will end up just fine.

Everyone is complaining about this. Maybe your doctor can write in a way to stop this. With the shortages. Maybe those don’t sell as much as the 10 ml vials. So they are off loading when they can?
 
My doctor already wrote a prescription that said “1, 10ml vial.” CVS gave me 10, 1ml vials. They told me that they were not allowed to sell “multi-dose” vials because there was a high risk for infection. Shows how stupid they are, because both products are made with 0.9% benzol alcohol which inhibit bacterial growth if a small number of microbes enter the vial. 46 years of using multi-dose vials and I have never had a problem. Now all of the sudden I need big pharma to watch out for me.

Anyway, I picked up my 10ml vial of test cyp and it was made at HIMKA Farmaceutica, Portugal. Thye made a note on the vial that I still have 2, 1mls available. It only took them a day to get this because they told me it was a controlled substance.....$47.
