Do you know why this occurred in the first place ?

Objective
To compare the effects of buffered hypertonic and buffered normal saline nasal spray on mucociliary clearance and nasal airway patency.

Study design and setting
Double-blind trial with subjects acting as their own controls. Tertiary care academic medical center.

Results
Buffered hypertonic saline and buffered normal saline both improved saccharine clearance times (P < 0.0001 for buffered hypertonic and P = 0.002 for buffered normal saline). Buffered hypertonic saline improved saccharine clearance times more than buffered normal saline (39.6% vs 24.1%, P = 0.007). Neither buffered hypertonic nor buffered normal saline significantly affected nasal airway patency.

Conclusions
Both buffered hypertonic and buffered normal saline nasal spray significantly improved saccharine clearance times without affecting nasal airway patency. Buffered hypertonic saline affected saccharine clearance times to a greater degree than buffered normal saline.

its caused because i had a recreational drug problem only made worse by seasonal allergies...just so happens all of the problems occured in the same nostril i used to shove cocaine in... it has permanently damaged my nasal cavities caused swelling and shrinking of the passages by damaging the walls of the passages...

lol... bro because I can not stand that fluid in my nose... Plus my CT scan showed swelling... Which salt and saline will not cure.
 
You didn't read the studies.
It will (maybe)eliminate the the cause of the swelling.
Have you tried any nasal steroid sprays?

yes... i have tried EVERYTHING except the saline netti pots... i can barely do the nasal spray because i cant stand fluid going in my nose... because one my passages are so narrow it dont come out... or it drains in my lungs and causes pneumonia or bronchitis...
 
nah... i just want this fixed professionally not with a home remedy...even though there are a few scientific studies to back up your info on the stuff. I would just personally get professional opinions and procedures done if they are readily available to me.

SURGERY TOMORROW BE AWAY 4 A FEW DAYS THINK ABOUT ME....AND POSSIBLY TOUCH YOURSELF..
 
I personally know about half a dozen people who have had their sinus repaired. All of them former hard drug users. Everyone of them is very glad they had the surgery done. They say the difference is like night and day. They can breath better and they get far fewer infections.

I hope you have the same outcome.

Hope it goes well, and next time don't put any drugs in your nose!
You would probably prefer a suppository.
