Like I said before worst case scenario is that I have to take them back and I plan to jack the price up on ebay by bidding my g/f's acct well that is until my costs are covered after that then it's up for grabs
 
Yeah if they are as hot as they sound you'll get at least a few hundred over cost probably a lot more.

think i'm going to make some calls tomorrow to make sure I know how the whole process is going to go down. I have heard that some walmarts hold lotteries right before the release. Meaning u could have waited 30hrs and still not get one

However, some go first come first serve and I am now planning on getting there around 5am thursday morning haha

im thinking about doing this camping out and selling it on ebay also, ive never sold anything on ebay before though, so what is the safest way to assure payment? ask for check only and ship it out once i have cashed it and know it will go through?

is payapl safe tho, or can they just take the money back out of your account once youve mailed it? does it go straight into my bank or does payapl send me a check?

how can they take back the money after they send it to you??

You can either have paypal deposit your money in a bank acct or they will mail u a check
 
paypal CAN take money back from you OR they can freeze your account, but they only do that if you send a package with no confirmation or tracking #

the reciepent, can claim you never sent it, and paypal will take money back, but if you have tracking number you are covered
 
Matt how much does ebay charge to sell an item? Is it a flat amount or a percentage? I just had an idea of how you could sell it. What about putting flyers out everywhere with a day that you would auction it off? That would be cool have an auction in your back yard highest bidder gets it.

heck ya if you are shipping a PS3 you better put a tracking number along with some INS.

i'm back with my 60 GB PS3 and I bought a game to go with it. Resistance : faling man

will prolly put it up to sale around 12-5pm b/c that seems to be a good time to have an auction end. I'm not going to be too greedy as I am going to put a buy it now price of 1825+shipping on it and i'm going to have the auction run for 10days.

Oh and i'm going to use my friends name to sell it as he is also selling three ps3s and has a seller rating of 100+
 
I saw one end today for $9,000 dollars

I think the ten day auction is a HUGE mistake Matt, HUGE mistake

take it from a 5+ yr ebay powerseller, 10 day auction suck, and all it does is cost you MORE money

Here is my professional ebay opinion...............

1. NO buy it now, start it at the price you have in it, including tax, and ebay fees. and shipping cost
2. offer free shipping in title, then inside auction say in the FIRST line, free shipping if bidding goes over 1800 dollars
3. make it a 3 day auction, understand, all the serious bidding goes on in the last hour, or basically the last couple minutes. If you list it for 10 days there will be 10,000 more listed on ebay by then to compete with you. Seriously bro, I know what I am talking about when it comes to ebay, trust me!

G4E only problem is that i'm out of town until Monday night. I guess my girl could ship it off for me. Why no buy it now?? As long as I get 1850 I will be a very happy camper so why not just have a buy it now on there?? I don't care if it "could" have gone for more.

Another problem i'm having now is loggin on my friends acct:( He is at work right now and I want to get this thing started

How long do you think I should put it up for??
