G4E do you think I could get away with a 5day auction if I have the buy it now auction?? I do not feel very comfortable having the auction end when i'm in Las Vegas
 
It'll still be a good time. I haven't been there in over 10 years it's changed a lot.

the 3 day auction is because you need it to end as soon as possible, the longer you wait the less you will get, TRUST me!

buy it now is useless, because after someone bids one time it disappears.....

the choice is up to you, do not worry about the auction ending while you are gone, ship it when you get back or have your GF ship it for you, and for this amount go PAYPAL ONLY, too many people have the smarts to counterfit money orders, I would make the auction paypal only!

I wish I was going to Vegas. I'm probably too old they might not let me in.
 
not really KC, the original casinos are downtown, well what is left of them, most originals have been torn down
 
Actually I like downtown better than the strip. It just has more of that real old time Vegas feel. I'll never for when I used to go to Binions Horseshoe man that was the real Vegas. They had a policy that they would back any bet any amount.

downtown is MUCH more dangerous, I only stayed a couple hours there, I felt very uneasy and wanted to get back to the strip.
 
Well I haven't been there in about 15-16 years so it was probably a lot different then. Back then you could walk down the street drunk with a beer in your hand probaly isn't like that now.
 
I was just there 4-5 months back remember, and you can walk drunk holding a beer anywhere on the strip, no problem, there is a ton of securty to protect you, downtown I did not see anything to protect me, and a lot of lowlifes and thugs. I said I am outta here.........lol

Wow things really have changed. Now I will admit they even when I went you had lower class people downtown but I never felt in danger. You just have more crime everywhere compared to 15 years ago. It's really as shame. Back 40 years my Grandparents didn't even lock their doors at home. Today you have to have 5 deadbolts and chains.

It's not too bad where I live, but still not nearly as safe as when i was a kid. I'll give you an example when I was a kid around 8-12 we could play outside even at night and parents didn't worry. Now days a parent doesn't dare let their kids play outside past dark it's just too dangerous.

I would give anything to live in that kind of town anything. I keep my doors locked at home all the time just out of habit.

excatly the same thing happens here, i think parents doing the right thing. if i had kids i would do the same.
 
yeah too bad it's not safe like it was back in the 60's and 70's. But those days are gone and will never be back.
 
i have never been in 60's and 70's but been in 80's and now i can see the difference a lot.
 
Yeah most of the people on here aren't old like me but some were around in the 80's at least. Where in the hell did I put my teeth?
