Never tried to cut fat and maintain muscle before. I am maintaining my strength. Doing cardio 4x a week for 30 min. Am I making decent progress? Any suggestions to my diet?

I would think that you should lean up on this diet and be able to maintain muscle.

Nice! Is the fat around the stomach genrally the last to go?

Glad Im not the only one. Do the calories look right for someone at my weight?

When I want to rip up I use 10X my bodyweight in pounds, so by my formula you could ingest 2600 cals per day as long as your protein is 50-60% of calories and fats around 15% of calories. As you lose weight you adjust your daily calorie intake. You need to be sure your calorie counting is accurate.

Do you adjust your carbs or protein after you lose weight?

i pretty much do the same as LS but i start off at 12x my weight then move down to 10x. then when i plateau on 10x i take my new bdwt and 10x that. i like to do 50% protein 30% fat 20% carbs. i take in half my carbs after lifting or cardio. if i dont do either that day i just spread em out evenly my first few meals and my last two meals are pro/fat.
