Went to my 1st gun show yesterday. Drove 4 damn hours to get there too. I was misinformed that we could buy pistols there being out of state so that is the reason we went. after we got there we were told we they still had to be shipped to our state. I'd rather give the local guy our business in that case, but it was quite the site to see though. Lot's of cool shit for sure.

Recently I have traveled to Missouri as well as Indiana for various reasons and both trips I stopped by gun shops trying to take advantage of some deals on guns . Handguns in particular . Being the state that I am from and our ridiculous laws regarding them I as well was denied the purchase of a Handgun and told the same thing you were.
Used to be you walked in , set the money on the counter and walked out with whatever you wanted. Not any more .
And the last couple gun shows I have went to have been sheer chaos with tons and tons of people rushing ,pushing and shoving etc etc ......

im blessed to be in the deep south. except for ar 15s and ak 47s there are still guns available.a few private sellers have high capacity rifles for sale but at a mininum they are bringing 2x what they are worth.
if you can pass your the background check take a look on gunbroker.com.

I did wear my sleeveless shirt because I did t have my conceal carry permit on me!

You just looked shady so they said f-this.....but seriously its cuz of where we live brother...shitty gun laws here stop us from getting stuff

Same thing here in TN you can walk into a local gun show here and buy whatever you want! However now with the bullshit going on with high cap clips and assault riffles everyone wants 3 to 5 times what the riffles is worth if you can find one..
I've seen several Ar's just like ones I had at home going for up to $2.500 and I gave $399. for mine back in the day..
Seen one Bushmaster Ar15 without anything sell for 3k!! That shit is crazy it got me thinking about making some fast cash since I have so many,I wouldn't miss 4 or 5 and sure could use 15k right now..lol
But I've never been to a gun show outside of the 2 states where I'm at since I'm on the border of Va n TN seems like there's always a show somewhere here...

I get most of my stuff at gun shows since I am a convicted felon several times over and it is illegal for me to purchase weapons any more. I just try to find guys walking around with prices on whatever they are trying to sell and if I like it and have the cash I buy it from an individual.

There's an annual show at the RBC center in Raleigh and it's insane. As in in-state resident I can walk out with pretty much anything I can afford. A couple of years ago a dude bought a Barrett M82 (0.416cal) for $6K. AR's last for about the first hour of the show

I'm around the Smoky Mountains a couple hours South of Freezer and like he said, cash & carry costs a fortune anymore. . . . However, we still swap, trade and sell weapons like baseball cards around here.

most areas of the country have a crap load of facebook pages devoted to the buying / selling / trading of guns and all things gun related.

hmm guys you are really rich in guns because I don't have stuff like that.. but I am planing to buy a gun.. I was searching on google and I found a gun which is really beautiful. That named Desert Eagle .50 , I don't know anything about the gun but I love the design.
