i know its a disaster and those poor innocent people are suffering... But dont you guys think our media is over playing it? I mean every 5 minutes they show images of the dead, wounded, starving, orphan kids, ect....

Why do they feel they have to dwell on negative energy?

I guess i am different... i feel sympathy yes, but i have moved on.

Haitian people, in a bid to defeat French colonizers in the early 19th century, the witchdoctors made a deal with the devil. They were under the heel of the French government... and they got together and swore a pact to the devil. They said, 'We will serve you if you'll get us free from the French'. Ever since, they have been cursed by one thing after another.

Ever since then they have been broke, corrupt and one of the worst nations in the world.
 
media does this with everything. Once the next thing comes along we'll never hear about it again. The news isn't really "news" but more like a reality show these days. I heard H1N1 is on the rise again...
This is the reason I don't watch the news, it just makes my head hurt.
 
Even if the Haitian people made a deal with the devil, which I find a little far-fetched even for Pat Roberson, that was generations ago. The devil deals in souls, and if there is any historical proof of that deal, the souls are gone and this is a new generation, with no such deal hanging over their heads.
 
why would god place leaders any where he leaves all the choices up to us
 
yea it's getting played out for sure. Crazy thing is they arent reporting all the stories. There was a group of people who were trying to free a bunch of kids from a collapsed building and zero parents ever showed up for their kids. no parents, no uncles, no aunts, no neighbors.

Their state of shittiness probably has more to do with corruption within their government and the fact they have no sense of freedom or capitalism. Not magic, mysticism, devils, jesus, zues, whales, or steamboats. sorry pat and anyone else who is offended by non mystics.
 
disasters have happened for centuries....dont know why God allowed this...not my place to ask.......but then his knowledge and wisdom is far greater than ours......but if they asked Jesus Christ into their lives they are in a better place...and if that offends you...oh well....
