I hope all of you have a happy & safe turkey day and weekend! :)

Can't find any joint here in Philippines that does turkey since it's not a holiday here, so we'll head out for a steak later after kickin' the iron. :D

As said ,,HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL ,and be safe and thankful for what we have in this world and thankful for the soldiers who keep us free from harm and able to have our familys together.
As BufBiker mentioned in regards to family fighting at dinner, -My family and I do not fair well all together in one place , so every year my ol lady and kids have dinner at my house and invite my folks and granny none of my siblings come to BikerTrashs house as its my territory ,its a shame that just for one day a year we cant all get along but ,,,its better this way ,,,,

Thanksgiving, a time of reflection, on whether-or-not it will be the first time I hit 240lbs since july of 2009. LOL
I think I can do it!
Enjoy your day and especially the quality time with your families.
Now I have to go upstairs because my daughters are screaming at each other, arggh!
 
Happy Thanksgiving to all! Hank, I know a few vegetarians who roll out a meatless feast for Thanksgiving so grand you hardly miss the turkey. (key word?hardly :) )

BT, sorry about your family. I have 5 brothers, and we grew up a pretty rowdy dysfunctional bunch and went our separate ways as adults. Over the course of 20+ years, we have all managed to reconnect. Time heals all wounds my friend. ;)
 
I have a new found appreciation for giving thanks.

I made a TON of food myself...

Pomegranite molasses glazed turkey (Bobby Flay recipe) - Brined it over night
Mashed potatoes and Gravy
Sweet potatoe recipe (PHENOMENAL!!!)
Sausage and chorizo and cranberry stuffing
macaroni salad
Red Velvet Cake

Went to my parents, whom also cooked a lot of stuff. I had a throwdown with my mom:D
