Metallica released their new album yesterday in time for Christmas. Harford Wired to Destruction is a throw back to their earlier years, most probably And Justice for All but with more melody and greater attention to the lyrics. As a musician myself I highly recommend it if you are a fan of that genre. Great slbum. No dead spots.

The song musically is a throwback but lyrically it's weak as hell. Simplistic and lazy. I hope the rest of the album is better.

I agree wired is very lyrically challenged. And it's not something I could play with my grandkids around. Gramps would be whooping some butt.

Some of my most intense workouts were in the '80's and 90's listening to Metallica.

Whenever it's PR time, I gotta have Sad but True blasting!

Some really good music on there. Dynamic sound with catchy riffs. They really have lost their lyrical ability though. Some of the songs are childlike. As if they're just trying to see how many words they can make rhyme.

This one is how I feel on tren....
