Haven't been feeling right

Just haven't been feeling right for the last week. The flu with vomiting made its way thru the house and I never got it but I'm feeling off.

I don't have the diarrhea but I've been going more than normal. Pissing all the time too but not at night like I used to. And I'm always tired and sore lately. I've got a docs appointment in March I think the 23rd I just got the reminder post card I'll have to double check. I'm just worried I'm sick and I mean really sick. Has anyone at all felt like this? I guess I'm looking for advice that had gotten a serious illness and what the symptoms were before it.

Based on the limited information/symptomatolgy you provided, I would suggest you have your Doc run a CBC (anemia and infection), A1C (Diabetes), and get your BP checked.

Call and have him order these (first 2) ASAP so your results will be ready in advance of your evaluation in March (if he is a jerk, or if you are impatient, use PrivateLabsMD http://www.privatemdlabs.com and Google the net for a 15% discount. Total cost will be about $50(?) and you will have results back in 3 days).

Get checked for lyme too. That can take a while to actually show up, but a couple of my friends had it and they had similar symptoms. Always tired, sore, dizziness. One had it pretty bad and said it was like someone put a padlock on his joints.

Ya I've been sick for two weeks I can't get rid of this cough and my chest always hurts it feels like a dagger in my chest it really hurts and is uncomfortable especially when I train I get hot and cold sweats I hate it

Seriously though.. It could just be the winter doldrums. A lot of folks are feeling run down and tired lately. My wife feels like crap at the moment. I'm whipped out. I had a cold the past week and had one that lasted about three weeks back in Nov/Dec. Have you been putting in long hours> i see you have been training early most days. Are you sleeping at night? Family stress? Work stress? Extra curricular stresses? Supraphysiologic PED stress?

Maybe family stress Gmann but I've been sleeping just fine...the whole family is sick and I mean sick pukey poopy coughy sick I haven't got any of it yet though

It's that time of year where the whole household gets sick....my kids were sick a couple weeks ago then felt better then I got sick and it's been two weeks and I still feel like shit and now both of my kids are sick again

Maybe you have a low grade infection.

I've Bennett sick for two weeks now. Chest and sinus infections. I've missed this entire week of work, which I never do. I don't even take vacations, they're afraid the company will fall apart if I'm not there.
Try some slow fe an iron supplement to see if it helps.

I'd grab some anti-biotics to be on the safe side.

This years strain of flu has been sticking to people longer than normal.

Feel better soon bro...

Funny you mention the iron supplements, I have been sluggish, tired, not sleeping well lately which I just attributed to my injuries and over training. Went to doc and had tests done and figured out I had low iron fe, etc. After about a week, I am feeling much better, may be worth a shot

Bingo.

Precisely why I suggested ...

If people are convinced they are ill beyond what would be considered an every day cold, etc...quit guessing and playing with your health and figure out what's going on either by way of a professional or by running own labs. The problem with the latter approach is that labs don't tell you the whole story.

I have had flu like symptoms all week. I had absolutely no energy and no strength, back and abdominal pain. Doc gave me two days off but I'm still exhausted.
Get some bloodwork done like others suggested and go from there.
