Just wanted to stop in and say hi before I really dig in and start browsing the forums. I enjoy working out alot. I haven't been in the gym as much lately as I should because I've got 2 kids who keep me really busy & a husband who works alot of hours so I have to be creative with my time. Now that school is back in session it will get easier for me, I'm sure.

I don't have any desire to compete, I just want to look great. The best compliment anyone can give me is, "WOW, you don't look like you have 2 kids, you're 34?" That's what I strive for.

Thanks Future for telling me about this site. This looks like a great place to hang out!

hey guys!

I'm in good company! How's your wife, Heck? I'm doing another walk for the Heart Association. It's nothing like the walk for breast cancer, but i guess word got around my office how much of a nut I am for walking the 60 miles in June, they asked me to be on their team. What can I say, I'm a glutten.

She is training hard for the next 3 day in October...And Doing well, thanks!
 
Good for her! October will be a great time of year to do it. If/when I do the 3 day walk again, I'm going to pick a cooler time of year. A walk in Dallas in the June heat... I was soooo sunburned.

good question! My grandma has been asking the same thing. I'm hoping to get down there before Thanksgiving. Any chance of TLM baking one of those apple cranberry pies?
