Help me lose weight.....

I think I am going to go the "timed carb route". I was wanting to make sure I had some things straight.

No carbs except PWO and PPWO (post-post workout)

I am to basically eat no carbs (except after training).

I have a "carb up" day every 5 days.

I need to have my pro/fat meals be 40%fat & 60%protein

What else?
 
Cardio 5 times a week, In the A.M if possible. Other then that you have it down. On your carb up day, makes sure to have low gi carbs (with fiber). I'm fallowing a timed carb diet as well. I have 1 regular carb up day, and 1 cheat day out of the week.

maybe IA has it setup like that for you. For me, I have 2 carb up days. One is the one he outlines, and the other is my cheat day.
 
well i've been doing good just eating carbs on my lifting days. And days I don't lift I usually do light cardio (walking or slow on the eliptical) I stay low carbs and maybe throw in some after cardio but other than that no carbs. I am working on getting more fats in b/c I didn't realize how key that was until I got on IA's site but I have 4bottles of flax oil coming so all is good
 
and timing....the ratio of what you eat is not the only important thing, the time is also another crucial factor. You need to give your body what it needs when it needs it. I'm sure you already got that down but you never know. Good luck.
